We are a family-owned business founded in Frederick, MD. The work is local on purpose: you talk to the people who run the company, not a national call center, and the material stays in a chain we can stand behind.

Home Haven Group launched this destruction line because Mid-Atlantic vaults still hold what paper-only shred trucks often skip. After a scanning or conversion project, organizations are left with microfilm, microfiche, and aperture cards. Those formats need a deliberate process. That is our specialty.

We also destroy everyday paper and send that fiber into a full recycling stream — not a landfill. CDs, DVDs, and USB flash drives are accepted. We do not destroy IT hardware: no hard drives, SSDs, phones, or computers.

The name and the shield mark the same idea. A haven is where material goes so it does not come back as information. Every completed job can carry a Certificate of Destruction for your files, insurer, or compliance officer.

If a lot is a poor fit — classified material we are not cleared for, or devices we do not take — we will say so before you schedule.
